The tour starts at 14:30 at the "Bäsetöri" in Jakob-Rosius-Strasse 16 in Biel. A guide from Tourismus Biel Seeland will introduce you to the history of the city and tell you some anecdotes
The charming and authentic old town impresses with its narrow streets, venerable guild houses and picturesque fountains. There are galleries, cafés, restaurants, small markets and small stores with rarities and specialties.
You will visit the Ring, the oldest square in Biel. The Roman Fountain is a place where the Romans paid homage to their god "Belenus" for centuries. This is how Biel got its name.
The tour ends at 15:30.

On the first Friday of every month, the old town is particularly busy until late in the evening. People come to the Old Town for shopping. On these days there are performances by local artists in the Old Town
