From Zurich: City tour Zurich and surroundings with ferry and cable car

Set off on a varied city tour around Zurich where you’ll see the main sights. You’ll also take a ferry across Lake Zurich and ride the cable car up to Felsenegg.

The trip starts from the Sihlquai bus terminal in Zurich on a comfortable coach. You’ll pass the shopping street along Bahnhofstrasse and the famous financial district. Later, you’ll drive past the opera house and the university quarter. Then enjoy a guided walk through Zurich’s old town, seeing well-known landmarks like the charming Niederdorf, impressive guild houses, and St. Peter’s Church, which has Europe’s largest clock face.

Next, the bus takes you to Lake Zurich and the Gold Coast area as far as Meilen. From there, you board the ferry to cross to the opposite shore at Horgen.

You’ll then float up to Felsenegg on the only cable car in the canton of Zurich. From the summit, take in fantastic views over Lake Zurich and the Glarus Alps. After the tour, your guide will bring you back to Zurich, where your excursion ends late afternoon at the Sihlquai bus station.
