Orino Canyoning for Experienced Adventurers from Malvaglia

This canyoning tour takes you through the lower Orino Canyon in the Malvaglia Valley. The gorge is sporty and challenging, designed for people with canyoning experience and confident abseiling skills. Throughout the canyon, you’ll alternate between jumps, slides, and notable abseiling points.

Even before starting, you can admire the gorge from an ancient Roman bridge. Then the route continues with a varied line below the reservoir featuring many water passages. The finale is marked by a spectacular 80 m waterfall that creates a memorable finish to the tour.

• Avoid wearing cotton clothing
• Glasses or contact lenses are allowed; goggles straps and waterproof cases are recommended
• Remove all jewelry and piercings before the tour

• Allergy-friendly neoprene suit (2 pieces: pants and jacket) with hood
• Canyoning shoes and allergy-friendly neoprene socks
• Canyoning harness and two safety devices with locking carabiners
• Rockfall-certified helmet

• Swimwear (swimming trunks, swimsuit, bikini)
• Towel
• For climbing and cooler weather, or if you tend to get cold, wear snug-fitting functional underwear or ski base layers beneath the wetsuit. IMPORTANT: use synthetic fibers or merino wool (avoid cotton, as it tends to cool rather than warm).
• Change of clothes for after the tour

• Minimum age: approx. 16 years accompanied by adults
• Minimum group size: 2 people

• Requirements: strong swimming skills, good overall fitness, excellent conditioning, surefootedness, and no fear of heights
