Description
Take the Sillerenbahn for about 30 minutes to Sillerenbühl.
On the winter-themed Love Trail between Sillerenbühl and Geils, enjoy an easy and scenic hike in Adelboden. Along the way, discover eight themed stations all about love.
Walk through the snowy mountain scenery, pause, and breathe in the fresh winter air. A highlight is the LoveNest with its romantic swing and views over the Alps.
At the trail’s end, a large wooden heart awaits you, a popular photo spot. The circular route invites you to experience winter with all your senses and be enchanted by the mountain atmosphere.
From Geils, take the bus to Bergläger, where you transfer to the train back to Adelboden-Oey.

Mountain Railway Stations
The Silleren - Sillerenbühl mountain railway (Silleren gondola) runs from Adelboden-Oey via the intermediate station Bergläger up to the mountain station Sillerenbühl. The total journey takes about 30 minutes.
The stations are:
- Oey (valley station, Adelboden) 1260 m above sea level
- Bergläger (intermediate station) 1488 m above sea level
- Sillerenbühl (mountain station) 1974 m above sea level
Winter Bus Stations
The winter bus from Geils to Adelboden runs several times a day and is coordinated with the operating hours of the hiking trails and mountain railways.
Bus 31.234 stops:
- Geils (Hahnenmoos)
- Bergläger
Traveling with Wheelchair or Stroller
- The Winter Love Trail is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with strollers.
- The route mostly follows a prepared but narrow and partly steep winter hiking trail, which is too challenging for wheels and rigid gear.
- The downhill sections, snow cover, and icy patches make wheelchair or stroller access impossible.
Traveling with Dogs
Dogs are allowed on the Adelboden-Lenk mountain railways and travel free of charge. However, dogs must be kept on a leash.

- Check the Adelboden-Lenk mountain railway timetable on your travel day and plan your trip so you catch the last bus
