Hire a via ferrata set in Engelberg

You hire a via ferrata set to use one of the four via ferrata routes on Brunni. You pick up the via ferrata set (incl. helmet) directly at the Kräuterhütte at Lake Härzli.

Lake Härzli on the Brunni lies at an altitude of 1861 meters. It owes its name to its shape. There are two huts right by the lake where you can eat and drink: The Brunnihüttli and the Kräuterhütte. If you want to barbecue yourself, there are five barbecue areas dotted around the lake.

Brunnistöckli (K2):

• very interesting for beginners and families
• time from chairlift mountain station↑: 1:00 hrs.
• time to the chairlift mountain station↓: 0:20 hrs.

Rigidalstock ridge (K3):

• suitable for beginners
• runs through the south-west face of the summit
• time from chairlift mountain station↑: 3:30 hrs.
• time to the chairlift mountain station↓: 1:30 hrs.

Rigidalstockwand (K3 to K4):

• accessible via the Ridigalstock ridge
• not suitable for beginners
• time from chairlift mountain station↑: 3:30 hrs.
• time to the chairlift mountain station↓: 1:30 hrs.

Zittergrat (K4):

• for advanced climbers, difficult, runs through vertical wall sections
• time from chairlift mountain station↑: 0:40 hrs.
• time to the chairlift mountain station↓: 0:20 hrs.

• Use of the via ferrata is at your own risk
• Minimum age: 8 years
• Persons under 40 kg must be additionally secured
• Dress: good footwear
• Prerequisite: no fear of heights, sure-footed and fit for the mountains
• Deposit: ID must be handed in
