Secluded trail that leads through an alpine landscape with lush meadows and small mountain lakes. With a little luck, chamois can be observed here.

At the beginning you run at the foot of the Wetterhorn on the ascent of the Ultra Trail routes E101 and E51 to the big Scheidegg. The route is quiet and secluded, which increases the chances of observing the resident chamois. From Grosse Scheidegg, follow the Oberläger Scheidegg to Wart. The pretty trail now passes the two small mountain lakes Häxeseewli and Hagelseewli. For once, you don't have any natele reception on this stretch of trail

The trail continues to the well-known Bachalpsee and from there with an easy descent to Waldspitz. If you need refreshment, you can enjoy a fine cake or coffee on the sun terrace in the mountain inn. Then follows the last ascent to First. Here you can take the gondola down to the valley or start the descent to the village.

The route of the Eiger Ultra Trail E35 is one of the most exciting and beautiful route sections of the entire Eiger Ultra Trail E101.

We meet in Burglauenen at the train station. From there we start in the direction of Wengen via Späten Alp. Once in Wengen we have a short time to recharge our batteries and enjoy Wengen village. Apparently it goes really steep mountain up to Männlichen

On the Männlichen we can take a longer rest or continue immediately towards Kleine Scheidegg/Eigergletscher. From there it goes along the Eiger north face back towards Grindelwald.
