Paragliding Grindelwald Details
This spectacular paragliding flight takes you to Grindelwald First in the heart of the Jungfrau region. In the air, you'll enjoy spectacular views over the north face of the Eiger and the mountains around the Jungfrau. You will meet your paragliding pilot at the valley station of the First cable car in Grindelwald.
Before the flight, you will be introduced to the upcoming flight and briefed on the safety precautions. After that, you are ready to take off. After a few quick steps, you'll be airborne and flying with your tandem pilot through the impressive mountain scenery of the Jungfrau region. The flight lasts around 20 minutes and ends in Grindelwald. You land at the Bodmi Grindelwald landing site, which is about 5 minutes' walk from the valley station. From here you depart individually.
Please allow at least 90 minutes in total.
Practical information:
- No age limit
- You can leave large items of luggage at the valley station
- Small backpack or bag can be taken along
- Small, secured camera allowed
- Cell phone or selfie stick not allowed in the air
- Photos can be obtained from the pilot after the flight

I went paragliding and felt completely ripped off. I refused the offer for a longer flight twice on the ground, but mid‑air the pilot asked again using unclear words. After landing he demanded more money for extra time, got aggressive, and chased me until I paid. None of my friends were asked for extra charges in the air.
Dear Michael, We have clarified the situation with the provider. Your Google review for Paragliding Jungfrau has already been responded to. In short, there was a communication misunderstanding regarding a possible upgrade to a longer XXL flight. The pilot mistakenly believed that you had agreed to the upgrade, which is why the extended flight was carried out. However, after landing, no upgrade fee was charged and the additional flight time was provided free of charge. The claim that the pilot followed you to request payment for the flight is not correct. The contact was solely related to an outstanding payment for the photo and video option you selected. From our perspective, the review does not reflect the actual course of events: you enjoyed a safe and pleasant flight under excellent conditions, including a longer XXL flight at no additional cost.
