Zurich Day Trip to Snow Fun at Titlis and Lucerne

In the morning, you board a comfortable coach in Zurich and are first taken to Lucerne. During the drive, you can fully enjoy the stunning scenery of Switzerland along the shores of Lake Lucerne.

A city tour will take you to the main sights of Lucerne. You will learn where to find the world-famous Chapel Bridge with its water tower, the Gothic Jesuit Church, or the Culture and Congress Centre (KKL). The coach journey continues to Engelberg in the canton of Obwalden.

To conquer the ascent to Titlis, you take the Titlis Xpress cable car with eight seats. Once you arrive at the Trübsee intermediate station, you will be met by a staff member from the Titlis Snow Park. On the beginner’s piste, you can try your first skiing attempts. Alternatively, you can ride down the snow hill in one of the specially designed rubber rings, called snowtubes.

After the snow fun, you continue by train to the final station of the Titlis Xpress. Here, you will experience the unique Rotair rotating cable car, which turns 360 degrees as it reaches the summit. From Titlis, you can see steep rock faces, vast glacier crevasses, and the many mountain peaks of the surrounding Alps.

Later in the afternoon, you descend back to Engelberg. From there, the coach will return you to Zurich.

• Suitable for: People without snow or skiing experience

Upon arriving at Titlis, you can enjoy the sun terrace at the Panorama Restaurant. The breathtaking view will stay with you for a long time.

• What to bring: warm winter coat, sturdy footwear, gloves, snow trousers or spare pants are recommended
