Description
During this castle tour, Schloss Thun is all yours. Together, you’ll climb up stairs and corridors to the impressive residential tower that has overlooked the old town since the 12th century. Along the way, you’ll learn how the Zähringer, Kyburger, and Bernese shaped the castle's appearance.
Inside, the guide takes you through selected museum rooms showcasing objects spanning over 800 years of regional history. You’ll see a range of everyday items alongside grand furniture and armor. A highlight is the magnificent knights' hall, one of the largest preserved banqueting halls from the High Middle Ages.
