Swissminiatur in Melide presents Switzerland as an extensive open-air park featuring detailed models at a 1:25 scale. While strolling through the roughly 14,000-square-meter park, you'll find handcrafted replicas of well-known buildings, monuments, and transport facilities all lined up.
Model trains run along a branched railway network, complemented by boats and cable cars moving through the designed miniature landscape. Situated right on Lake Lugano, the compact Switzerland in miniature is paired with an impressive backdrop of water, mountains, and well-maintained green spaces. This attraction is especially great for families.
Traveling with a wheelchair
