Group Ski School for Adults in Grindelwald

The ski instructors form groups with similar skill levels. Through clear demonstrations, personal feedback, and motivating support, they enable you to learn effectively and make visible progress.

The lessons always depend on your previous skiing experiences. You make your first turns on skis, refine your technique, or gain confidence on difficult slopes. Throughout this, your safety and the enjoyment of skiing are always the top priority.

This course is aimed at skiers of levels 1 to 7:

Level 1: Complete Beginner: No prior knowledge required – everyone starts somewhere. With patience and the right instruction, you will learn the basics of skiing.

Level 2: Advanced Beginner (1): You master the magic carpet and the tow lift, and can already control your speed and direction on practice slopes a bit.

Level 3: Advanced Beginner (2): Familiar with all lifts on practice and easy slopes, you can confidently make turns and adjust your speed in every situation.

Level 4: Intermediate: Blue slopes are no problem for you. You turn smoothly and sometimes keep your skis parallel as a skier.

Level 5: Advanced Intermediate: You feel comfortable on red slopes under good conditions. Challenges like ice, moguls, or deep snow are an exciting next step for you.

Level 6 Advanced: You master red slopes safely, regardless of the conditions, and can handle most black runs. You want to further develop your technique in carving, off-piste, or on moguls.

Level 7 Expert: You tackle black slopes and challenging routes with ease. You work on your speed and technique in carving, in moguls, or in deep snow, and refine jumps and tricks in the freestyle park.

• Kleine Scheidegg: in front of the TiPi tent (sponsored by Coca Cola) on the platform.
• From Grindelwald, you can take the train directly to Kleine Scheidegg.

• Bring: Ski pass, sunscreen and lip balm, goggles with sufficient UV protection, money for drinks or snacks, etc.
• Dress: Appropriate clothing and gloves, helmet, properly fitting skis and boots.
