Return ticket Mörel - Riederalp - Moosfluh/Hohfluh
Two pieces of luggage per person (Mörel-Riederalp)
With the cable car, you comfortably ride from Mörel up to the car-free Riederalp. You have two options: a large panoramic gondola to Riederalp Centre or smaller 6-seat gondolas to Riederalp West.
To reach the viewpoint on Moosfluh, you transfer from Riederalp Centre into a cable car. The modern combined cable car (6-seat cabins and 8-seat compartments) takes you to the impressive Moosfluh at 2333 meters above sea level, with a direct view of the Great Aletsch Glacier.
Hohfluh can be visited by a 4-seat cable car (with weather protection hoods) in winter from Riederalp West (only in stable weather conditions). In summer, it’s accessible on foot. The two viewpoints, Moosfluh and Hohfluh, are approximately 2 km apart in a straight line. A high-altitude trail connects them, offering additional views along the way.
The two valley stations of the Riederalp cable car are located directly next to each other in Mörel. The journey takes about 12 minutes each time.
The ride takes approximately 7 minutes.
The journey lasts about 4 minutes.
A well-signposted hiking trail runs between the two viewpoints. A popular route is the panoramic winter hike from Moosfluh via Hohfluh to Riederfurka and back to Riederalp (approx. 5.7 km, 1:45 hours, mostly downhill).
In Riederalp, you will find over 30 accommodation options, mainly holiday apartments and huts. Some include pet-friendly rooms and accommodations suitable for cyclists or skiers.
You can easily travel to Riederalp with a stroller. Many paths in the village and on the high plateau are accessible, especially with a rugged stroller.
Riederalp is awarded the “Family Friendly” label and offers many family-friendly services.
Dogs over 30 cm shoulder height need a dog ticket (50% of a regular 2nd class ticket, but at least the minimum fare). Small dogs can travel free in boxes.
Please observe local rules such as leash requirements in certain areas to protect nature and other guests.
The return journeys are each valid for 30 days
