Ticket Fiescheralp with Viewpoint Eggishorn from Fiesch return

With the modern cable car, you ride up from Fiesch to the car-free Fiescheralp. The Fiescheralp is situated at 2,212 meters above sea level and serves as an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions.

To reach the Eggishorn viewpoint, you take the cable car from Fiescheralp. The cable car takes you up to the Eggishorn at 2,869 meters above sea level – from there, you get one of the best views of the Great Aletsch Glacier and the surrounding high mountains.

Several hiking trails start from Eggishorn offering spectacular views of the Aletsch Glacier, such as towards Märjelensee or Bettmerhorn. The most popular route is the Eggishorn - Bettmerhorn - Bettmeralp trail.

• Two pieces of luggage per person are transported free of charge.
• For additional luggage, luggage carts (for a fee) can be rented. All transports are valid for trips from the valley to the plateau (Fiesch-Fiescheralp) and are only permitted within the railway premises.

On Fiescheralp you will find more than 15 accommodation options, mainly holiday apartments and huts. These include rooms with dogs and lodgings that are well suited for cyclists.

• The cable car between Fiesch and Fiescheralp is wheelchair accessible with step-free entry and exit.
• On Fiescheralp: Accessible paths, viewing platforms, toilets, and e-taxis available.
• The gondola to Eggishorn is wheelchair accessible (please register in advance).

Transporting strollers is generally straightforward since trains and stations are designed to be accessible for everyone.

Dogs (over 30 cm shoulder height) require a dog ticket (50% of the regular second-class ticket, but at least the set minimum fare). Smaller dogs can travel for free in carriers.

Please observe local rules such as leash requirements in certain areas to protect the environment and other passengers.

• Please check the timetables on the Aletscharena website for the travel day beforehand and make sure the trains you want to use are running. Maintenance is carried out alternately. The activity cannot be canceled afterwards if you couldn't use it due to maintenance.
