Saane Rafting Chateau d'Oex to Gstaad

On this three-hour rafting tour, you will get to know the beautiful surroundings of the Pays-D'Enhaut region and plunge into the waves and rapids of the Saane. Your certified guide will maneuver you and your group through various narrow gorges and undulating sections of the river.

The Vanel and Gerignoz gorges offer narrow passages and untouched, natural white water. The Saane has carved its way through the rock formations, leaving behind beautiful and adventurous rafting sections.

You will meet your guide and the rest of the group at the campsite le Berceau in Chateau d'Oex. A professional instructor will give you and your group an introduction to rafting and inform you about safety measures. Afterwards, each participant will be provided with the appropriate equipment.

You then go with the rest of the group to the starting point in Chateau d'Oex. Over the next 1.5 hours, your guide will take you through mighty gorges and varied river sections in the direction of Gstaad. The tour ends back in Chateau d'Oex after you have returned from your starting point.

The Saane is 126 km long in total and flows through the cantons of Valais, Vaud, Fribourg and Bern. It is known for its breathtaking gorges and varied water conditions. From rapid rapids to shallow waters, it has it all.
