Neudorf is part of the municipality of Beromünster and lies south of it in the Wynental valley. The village is located between Lake Baldegg to the northeast and Lake Sempach to the southwest. Neudorf includes Beromünster airfield as well as several scattered hamlets and clusters of houses. Highlights of the village include the Gormund pilgrimage chapel and the Church of St. Agatha. The Vogelmoos nature reserve is a picturesque wetland area and a popular local recreation spot. From Neudorf, hiking trails lead in about 20 to 30 minutes into Vogelmoos within the Herlisberg forest.
