The municipality of Nendaz is located in the canton of Valais and extends across a picturesque high plateau in the Rhône Valley. It comprises 15 villages, including Aproz, situated between the Rhône plain (460 m above sea level) and the highest village, Siviez, at 1730 m above sea level. Haute-Nendaz is the most important village. It is part of the "4 Vallées" ski area and a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts with over 400 kilometers of slopes. In summer, hiking along historical water conduits and breathtaking panoramas attracts visitors. Nendaz is known for its traditional charm, alpine festivals, and the preservation of customs such as alphorn playing.
