Description

On this tour, the extreme sport of ice climbing awaits you. An experienced mountain guide accompanies you as you climb over frozen waterfalls and ice-covered rock faces in the midst of a fairytale ice landscape. Adrenaline, thrills and adventure are guaranteed

An approx. 5 hour ice climbing tour in Zermatt awaits you!

Meeting point: Matterhorn Express valley station.

You will meet your mountain guide and other participants at 08:20 at the valley station Matterhorn Express.

Preparation: Equipment

For this tour you need the appropriate equipment. You can either bring it yourself or rent it

You go: Ice climbing.

From the valley station Matterhorn Express you drive to Furi. From there it's a 15-minute approach directly to the fabulous ice climbing area

Return journey: Zermatt

The tour ends in Zermatt in the early afternoon

Practical Information:

  • Languages offered: German; English, French
  • Take along: Climbing-resistant mountain boots with profiled, stiff Vibram soles, climbing harness, crampons, 2 ice axes, helmet, weatherproof clothing, backpack, sunglasses and sunscreen, high-energy food, water bottle
  • You can rent the equipment in a sports store in Zermatt
  • Number of participants: 1-3 persons
