The hike starts in the morning at 09:00 at the train station Sommerau in Gelterkinden. There you will meet your guide and you will set off together.

You hike through fields and forests to the Stierengraben. There, the impressive Giessenfall awaits you and an exciting insight into the Table Jura. The next highlight awaits you in the Eital, where a large cave system is located. Afterwards you will dive into a beautiful sea of blossoming cherry trees.

The hike ends between 15:00 and 15:30 in Rothenfluh. There you will say goodbye to your leader and the rest of the participants.

The old town of Basel is one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. If you are in the region for a longer time, a city tour is worthwhile. Discover the beautiful banks of the Rhine and the old town hall. There are also many specific tours in the city, such as the free guided tour of the Roche building.
