Guided hike on Mount Pilatus with barbecue experience (English)

You take a day trip from Lucerne. Together with a guide, you travel by bus to Pilatus and from there ascend to Pilatus via the cable car. The group hikes together for about an hour up to Tomlishorn, at 2,132 meters above sea level the highest summit of Pilatus.

Along the way, your professional guide explains the flora and fauna of the mountain. With a bit of luck, you might spot some ibexes. Later, you grill your lunch over an open fire at Fräkmüntegg before returning to Lucerne by bus.

Practical Information:

• Not suitable for strollers

• During public tours, some guests may feel uneasy or sensitive towards dogs. However, small and calm dogs usually pose no problems.

Dog Ticket Pilatus Railways:

• Bringing small dogs up to 30 cm in height is free on the Pilatus Railway. They must stay in a transport container at all times, which you slide under your seat.
• Dogs without containers and all dogs taller than 30 cm at the shoulder require a separate dog ticket for the Pilatus Railway.

• Important: The guided hike will only be conducted in English.
