Description
A packed rucksack awaits you and your companion at the Seebodenalp cable car valley station. We recommend taking the cable car at 8:30 am. Other cable cars run on the hour and half hour.
Once at the top, you can set off with the help of the enclosed overview map and hike your way hungry, or you can have breakfast first and then hike afterwards. The choice is yours.
Return your rucksack with cutlery and crockery to the cable car station at the bottom.
Swiss Activities Tip
At Seebodenalp, you have the opportunity to find out more about the ice age and its effects. The "Glacier Trail" hiking trail takes you past striking spots and provides you with additional information. The striking lateral moraine of the Reuss Glacier can be seen here at Seebodenalp and the so-called Albert Heim Stone is also an important witness to the times. The circular trail in the footsteps of the Ice Age begins at this boulder.
