Summerstage Ticket on 25 June with Basel Symphony Orchestra, Ritschi, and Carmina Burana

Summerstage 2025 offers a diverse music programme in the park on the green. On June 25th, the Basel Symphony Orchestra combines classical music with pop and will present the sonorous "Carmina Burana" together with Ritschi.

• Additional parking can be found at the parking lot behind St. Jakob-Halle; from there, a footpath leads to the park on the green.
• We recommend using public transport: tram line 10 to the "Neuewelt" stop, tram line 14 as well as bus lines 36, 37, and 47 to the St. Jakob stop.

• Basel Symphony Orchestra: One of the oldest and most prestigious orchestras in Switzerland, known for its sound quality and musical excellence. Conducted by Robert Emery, they present an energetic reinterpretation of pop hits and Carl Orff’s "Carmina Burana".
• Ritschi: Bernese dialect singer and former frontman of the band Plüsch, who has been captivating audiences for many years with his distinctive voice and catchy songs. With his charming mix of pop, folk, and chanson, he is a well-established figure in the Swiss music scene.
• Carmina Burana: Monumental choral work by Carl Orff, based on medieval texts about love, life, and fate. With its powerful rhythms, sumptuous sounds, and the famous opening "O Fortuna," it is one of the most performed classical works of the 20th century.
