Description
A mad criminal threatens Aarau. He has hidden CO₂ capsules in ventilation systems that will open in 2:30 hours if you don’t crack the secret code by then.
His message is:
- He wants to push politics to take stronger action against CO₂ emissions.
- He installed CO₂ capsules in the ventilation systems of several large buildings, which automatically open after exactly 2:30 hours.
- The activation is controlled by a secret, protected code.
- He has started a contest to spread his message more widely and has hidden clues throughout the city of Aarau to help you crack the secret code.
You start the timer, solve puzzles at various locations through teamwork, and chat with the mad criminal. You collaborate as a team to solve each puzzle together.
Along the way, discover the alleys with colourful gables in the historic old town and other spots in Aarau, such as Haldentor, Kasinopark, Schlossmühle, or the Aare river. You'll also learn interesting background information about lung health.
You can visit the puzzle locations in any order you like. Decide together on the fastest route and best strategy. The total distance is about 4 to 5 km. At the end, assemble the collected puzzle pieces to find the solution.

- Can't make it on the scheduled day or things aren't going as planned? No problem, the game remains valid indefinitely as long as the location is open. Just start your adventure on another day.
