Description
Your bus journey begins in Zurich and takes you through the Bernese Oberland to Interlaken. Here, you enjoy the scenery between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. From Interlaken, you have a great view of the mountains of the Jungfrau Region, including Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
You also explore the area around Interlaken on your own. The return trip by bus ends back at the meeting point.
Swiss activity tip
A trip to Lake Thun is worth visiting the Beatus Caves. They are located above the lake on the slope of Beatenberg mountain. Totaling 14 km in length, about one kilometre is open to visitors. You can reach them by boat. From the Beatus Caves/Sundlauenen boat station, it takes about 20-25 minutes to walk along a pilgrimage path to the caves. Right in front of the caves is a restaurant with a lovely view of Niesen.
