As an excursion experience on Lake Lucerne by boat, a trip to Bürgenstock is definitely worthwhile.

Take the Bürgenstock train from the Kehrsiten-Bürgenstock stop 6 minutes up the mountain to broaden your perspective of Lake Lucerne.

Smaller villages along the lake are also very worth seeing.

• Meggenhorn: from here you can walk up to the beautiful Meggenhorn Castle, within 10 min, and enjoy a fantastic view over the lake to the city of Lucerne.
• Küssnacht am Rigi: This place at the north end of the lake, is perfect for a perfect sunset with a view of Mount Pilatus, the local mountain of the city of Lucerne
