Pouring concrete on the Rigi

The craft and recreation day takes place in a small cottage in the nature reserve on the Rigi. At 10:00 am the experience begins. First you get a cup of coffee or tea and go on a tour of the beautiful garden

In the morning you will get a first introduction. You will learn how concrete watering works and what you have to pay attention to. Afterwards, you'll get hands-on and create your first object

At noon you have an hour lunch break. Here you can enjoy your lunch and make yourself comfortable on the balcony, in a deck chair or on the lawn.

After lunch there will be a small theory block. Here you will learn everything about the extraction, further processing, decoration and ornamentation.

In the afternoon you have free choice. You can continue to pour concrete. Of course, you will still get tips and support. You can also make something else, such as a wire picture or a Tetrapak monster, or you can use the time to relax. In the garden you can read, meditate, chat or take a short hike

At 5:30 pm the experience is over

Practical Information:

• Workshop is aimed at adults
• No previous knowledge necessary
• Implementation from 3 to 7 people
• Dress: old clothes and shoes
• Bring: Knitting or crochet items, plastic or gardening gloves

On the Rigi you should definitely do a smaller or bigger hike, because 120 km of hiking trails and countless gigantic views await you here. No matter if you want to do a relaxing or a challenging route with a lot of scrambling. There is something for everyone.
