Description
To reach the Marmot Trail at Betelberg, take the Betelberg railway from Lenk. This cable car transports you from the valley station in Lenk to the Leiterli mountain station. There is also an alpine playground here.
The Marmot Trail invites explorers of all ages to playfully discover the habitat of marmots. This varied adventure trail stretches from the Leiterli mountain station to the Stoss intermediate station. It covers approximately three kilometres and offers exciting nature experiences as an explorer’s path. A highlight is the walk-in and interactive marmot burrow, which adds to the trail’s appeal.

Traveling with a dog
Dogs are allowed on the Lenk mountain railways, including the Betelberg railway, and travel free of charge. However, dogs must be kept on a leash.
Traveling with a stroller
The road is unpaved. However, it is accessible with an off-road stroller.

- Dress in sturdy hiking boots
- The ticket must be exchanged at the ticket office
- Please check the timetable of the Adelboden-Lenk cable cars on your travel day and plan your trip so that you catch the last cable car descent safely
