Ticket Bernina Express Bus from Lugano or Tirano

The Bernina Express Bus connects Ticino with Valtellina and offers a comfortable journey between Lugano and Tirano. Along the route, you pass through stunning landscapes, travel along Lake Como, and through the Alpine mountain world.

The trip starts in Lugano or Tirano and takes you through the picturesque Mendrisiotto, passing small Italian towns like Chiavenna. You experience the transition from Mediterranean climate to high-altitude Alpine scenery. In Tirano, you connect to the Bernina Express panoramic train. This train runs between Tirano and St. Moritz or Chur. If you want to travel the entire Bernina Express between Chur or St. Moritz and Lugano, you must purchase a separate ticket and seat reservation for the panoramic train.
