Wine Hiking in the Vineyards of the Côtes de l’Orbe for Private Groups

You will take a hike as a private group through the vineyards of the Côtes de l’Orbe. A certified guide will lead you for about two kilometers along the paths through the vineyards and the villages.

Your guide will share stories about the vineyard's history and the families who established it. They will also talk to you about the daily work involved.

At a family-owned winery, you will take part in a wine tasting (costs not included). Juice will be offered for children.

The vineyards of the Côtes de l’Orbe are located between Orbe and Yverdon-les-Bains in the Vaud hinterland. Gentle hills, fields, and small villages shape the scenery of this rural wine region.

The climate is more continental than by the lake, with warm summers and cool nights. The main grape varieties grown here are Pinot Noir, Gamay, and robust white wines.
