Switzerland is world-renowned for its unique mountain and glacier landscape. Immerse yourself in this extraordinary world during this half-day tour from Lucerne. Travel by modern coach to the charming village of Engelberg.
Admire the stunning scenery of Central Switzerland passing by as you go. An experienced guide will share interesting facts about this region before you leave the bus in Engelberg.
To reach the airy summits, your mountain journey begins with the cable car "Titlis Xpress." This ride alone offers a breathtaking view of the glacier world at the foot of Titlis. Afterwards, you will board the "Rotair," the world’s first rotating gondola. Once at the summit, a landscape of eternal snow unfolds before your eyes.
At the top, visit the deep blue glacier cave and experience ice formations over 5000 years old up close. After exploring the underground glacier, you can glide over the glacier in the "Ice Flyer" cable car. From this cozy and safe bird’s-eye perspective, marvel at the massive crevasses. This impressive experience is rounded off with a visit to the glacier park, where the adrenaline-pumping Titlis Cliff Walk also awaits you.
In the late afternoon, you’ll return to the small monastery village of Engelberg, from where the bus will take you back to Lucerne.
Practical Information:
