Description
The boat takes about an hour for the one-way trip between Lucerne and Vitznau. Along the way, you’ll pass by wooded hills and charming villages. From the boat, you can see the Bürgenstock. The Rigi mountain range is right next to the boat route. In Vitznau, you can catch the cogwheel train to Rigi Kulm if you want to visit the Queen of the Mountains.

Traveling with a dog
- Bringing small dogs up to 30 cm is free, as long as they stay in a transport container for the entire trip. This container must be placed under your seat.
- Dogs without a container and all dogs over 30 cm shoulder height need a valid dog ticket: half price of a 2nd class fare or the minimum fare (dog day ticket, dog pass). They must sit under the seat to ensure that the aisle is clear for other passengers.
