Description
The impressive trip across Lake Lucerne is one of the most beautiful boat journeys in Switzerland. You start at the quai station in Lucerne and sail past Rigi, Seelisberg with the Rütli Meadow, and Klingenstock.
After about three hours, you arrive in Flüelen at the southern end of the lake. The docks are chosen to give you an up-close experience of the region’s scenic diversity and cultural history. In Flüelen, you are only a few steps from the train station.

Traveling with Dog
- Bringing small dogs up to 30 cm tall is free if they remain in a transport container for the entire journey. This must be tucked under your seat.
- Dogs without a container and all dogs over 30 cm shoulder height require a valid dog ticket: half price of second class or the minimum fare (dog day pass, dog pass). They must sit under the seat so as not to block the passage for other travellers.

The return trip from Lucerne to Flüelen is more expensive than a day pass for Lake Lucerne. We recommend you to purchase the day pass for Lake Lucerne for a planned return trip.
