Swiss Activities Tip
Melide is a place that gained importance as a trading and customs post at least by the 15th century. The Seedamm is a dam built in the 19th century, allowing a lakeside walk along the shore up to Bissone. Here you will also find Swissminiatur, which covers about 14,000 m² and features approximately 130 notable Swiss landmarks in model form, scaled down 25 times. Melide also has a Lido beach, a large park with a children’s playground, and scenic hiking trails.

Good morning, The boat trip was great. However, I found the information on your site a bit unclear because it suggests that the boat ride and admission to Swiss Miniature are included together. In the end, everything worked out fine and my daughters really enjoyed it.
