- The motor vessel (MS) Interlaken is not wheelchair accessible.
- All other vessels on Lake Brienz feature accessible main decks including wheelchair-friendly toilets.
- Docks are designed to be barrier-free.
Out and about with the dog
- Carrying small dogs up to 30 cm is free of charge if they stay in a transport container throughout the journey.
- Dogs without a container and all dogs taller than 30 cm at the shoulder need a valid dog ticket at half the price of second class, but not more than CHF 10.00 (dog day ticket).
- The dog day ticket and the SBB dog GA are valid on all scheduled boat trips.
- Dogs are allowed both inside the ship and in the ship's restaurant.

If you stay longer in the region of Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, a visit to the St. Beatus Caves is definitely worth it. Embark on an adventure along the mountain slopes of the area. The famous stalactite caves are best explored on a guided tour. However, it is also possible to discover certain parts of the caves on your own.
