Description
You travel on the steepest cable car in the world from Stechelberg to Mürren. The journey runs spectacularly directly along the steep cliffs of the Mürrenfluh. The incline is 159%, equivalent to approximately 58 degrees.
From Mürren, you can enjoy a tandem paragliding flight over the beautiful Lauterbrunnen Valley, offering a clear view of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
You can also reach the 2.2 km long via ferrata directly from Mürren. It runs along a steep rock face downward and ends with an 80-meter hanging bridge.
The cable car connects Lauterbrunnen Valley with the car-free mountain village of Mürren, crossing about 775 meters of altitude over nearly 1.2 km. The journey takes place in a modern cabin with space for 85 people and offers constantly changing views.
