Ridge walk with a view of Lake Zurich

• On this hike you will forget that you are in the canton of Zurich.

After a few minutes we leave Samstagern and soon walk along the Hüttener Seeli. After a first ascent to Hütten, we descend to the Sihl and cross the river. Now it goes steadily uphill. Sometimes leisurely, sometimes steeper. About halfway we take a break to gather new strength.

At the top we walk along the wooded ridge. Again and again we catch a great view of Lake Zurich through the trees. Another highlight on the ridge of the Höhronen is the Dreibündstein, where the cantons of Zurich, Zug and Schwyz meet.

From here we descend through the forest, past the Witi high moor to Biberbrugg.

Conditionally medium. You are fit for 800 hm ascent and 600 hm descent and 15 km. The pure hiking time is about 4.5 hours. We will be on the way for about 5.5 hours. Technically easy - medium . We are on hiking trails.
