Culinary city stroll through St. Gallen self-guided in the evening

This culinary city tour invites you to enjoy a starter, main course, and dessert in three different restaurants. You can expect a creative and regional selection of dishes and a great atmosphere at all locations. You can start your tour wherever you like.

The first stop will be the restaurant Scheitlinsbüchel, where you can have your starter no earlier than 5:30 PM.

Beforehand, you have the chance to stroll through the Gallus city and admire the highlights. Take as much time as you like for this. It’s important to keep the restaurant opening hours in mind and to arrive at the last restaurant by 8:30 PM at the latest.

Practical Information:

• Walking distance: about 6 km
• Duration: between 4 and 5 hours
• Dogs are allowed, but please keep them on a leash in the restaurants
• Due to partially steep paths and stairs, it's not suitable for strollers/wheelchairs

5:30 PM Starter at Restaurant Scheitlinsbüchel (Scheitlinsbüchelweg 10, 9011 St. Gallen):

• Mixed salad with egg, caramelized nuts, and sprouts

6:45 PM Main course at Restaurant Barz (Bankgasse 4, 9001 St. Gallen):

• Chicken Cordon Bleu filled with spinach, bacon, and cheese, served with fries and vegetables
• or Pork neck roast with cognac sauce, vegetables, and fried polenta
• or Vegetable platter baked with cheese (vegetarian and vegan options available)

8:00 PM Dessert at Restaurant Brauwerk (Bahnhofstrasse 19, 9000 St. Gallen):

• Thurgau apple turnovers with vanilla ice cream
• or Chocolate Daim brownie with salted caramel and sour cream ice cream

• Note the opening hours of the restaurants
• Latest arrival at the restaurant Brauwerk at 20:30 (kitchen open until 21:00)
