Description
You rent a rubber boat for a river trip in the group. The boat is one of the most popular summer activities in Switzerland. The route from Thun to Bern is among the most well-known.
The classic route runs from Uttigen to Bern and takes about 2:30 hours. You drift along with the current and enjoy the view of meadows and mountains.
Practical information for packing:
- Sunscreen: Don’t forget even on cloudy days
- Drinking water: You get dehydrated more quickly on the water
- Sun protection: Hat, sunglasses (secure with strap!), lightweight T-shirt
- Snacks & food: Energy-rich snacks and a light picnic
- Towel and change of clothes: Especially nice after the tour
