Rafting for 3-6 people: Rent a rubber dinghy

You rent a rubber boat for a river trip in the group. The boat is one of the most popular summer activities in Switzerland. The route from Thun to Bern is among the most well-known.

The classic route runs from Uttigen to Bern and takes about 2:30 hours. You drift along with the current and enjoy the view of meadows and mountains.

Practical information for packing:

• Sunscreen: Don’t forget even on cloudy days
• Drinking water: You get dehydrated more quickly on the water
• Sun protection: Hat, sunglasses (secure with strap!), lightweight T-shirt
• Snacks & food: Energy-rich snacks and a light picnic
• Towel and change of clothes: Especially nice after the tour
• Swimsuit and water shoes: Non-slip shoes make getting in and out easier
• Waterproof phone case: Optional, but practical for photos on the go
• Picnic blanket: For relaxed breaks on river meadows
• Garbage bag: Please take everything back with you – for a clean Aare

• Minimum age: 8 years
• Inflatable boat suitable for 3 to 6 people
• The material must be returned before 6:00 PM at the final destination (Camping Eichholz, Strandweg 49, 3084 Wabern bei Bern)
• Dogs are not allowed
