Half-Day Rafting Tour on the Reuss from Gisikon to Ottenbach

You'll kick off your canoe tour at the Wilhelm Tell Hotel in Gisikon. Here, you'll get your gear and a detailed briefing. Then, you'll hop into the boat with an experienced guide and paddle along the Reuss through a varied landscape.

Along the way, you can relax and float, go for a swim, or try your hand at steering the boat. The Reuss takes you through lush scenery with gentle currents. You'll have plenty of chances to enjoy nature and chat with your fellow paddlers.

At the end in Ottenbach, your dry clothes and a small snack will be waiting for you. You'll organize your return trip to Gisikon on your own.

Practical Information:

• What to bring: Depending on the weather, you might want to pack synthetic sports underwear for better insulation (no cotton), and possibly a sports strap for your glasses.

• Minimum age: 10 years (4 years if accompanied by an adult in the same raft)
• Bring: Swimwear, large towel, and sunscreen
• Bring: Shorts, T-shirt, and sandals or water shoes for the raft (they're likely to get wet…) or warm, dry clothing for after the tour
• Bring: Backpack or bag for transporting dry clothes on the bus, snacks, and drinks (no glass bottles)
