With this boat ticket, you travel from Solothurn to Biel or from Biel to Solothurn along the Aare. Along the way, you'll pass the Stork Village Altreu, home to the largest stork colony in Switzerland with over 40 breeding pairs. You'll also see charming historic sites such as Büren. The wooden bridge there is particularly impressive. A special highlight is the lock cruise in Port.
The journey by boat takes approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. It only operates during the summer half-year.

The site did not specify that, in addition to the ticket, we also had to book a seat in the boat's restaurant. Travelling outside in very cold weather without even being able to order a sandwich, for 66.- per person, is a very bad experience. This transport company has a lot to improve in welcoming its customers.
