Description
In the Lodrino Canyon, you'll find towering rock walls, clear pools, and narrow passages made of light gneiss. The gorge feels like a different world and impresses with its crystal-clear water.
If you're experienced and fit, you'll have plenty of intense moments here. The beauty of the gorge is hard to surpass. The Lodrino is challenging, with rappel sections that reach up to 50 meters high.
You'll slide through long, winding rock channels and jump from various heights. But there are also calm stretches where you can swim and enjoy yourself. The play of light between dark crevices and bright pools will surely stay in your memory for a long time.
Practical Information:
- Bring: depending on the weather, possibly some synthetic sports underwear for better insulation (no cotton)
Swiss Activities Tip
If you're coming canyoning with friends or teammates and want to relax afterwards over a hearty meal, the nearby Pizzeria Pizzamania in Riviera is a great spot.
