Culinary Hike “Mountain and View” from Laax

The culinary hike "Berg und Sicht" kicks off in Laax with coffee and cake at Restaurant Buna luna. After that, you’ll walk along Laaxer See and enjoy a delicious appetizer at Tegia Larnags. You'll reach Restaurant Startgels via the award-winning hiking trail Trutg dil Flem, where a tasty main course awaits you.

Afterward, the path leads you down to the mountain restaurant Foppa, where you’ll be spoiled with dessert and drinks. This hike combines enjoyment, movement, and nature into a special experience. If you want, you can conveniently take the cable car for the last descent to Flims.

The hiking trail Trutg dil Flem runs alongside the Flem stream. It goes from the Segnesböden through the area of Europe's largest landslide down to Flims. Thus, it is located in the immediate vicinity of the Tektonikarena Sardona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The path leads through a geologically significant region, where the processes of mountain formation are particularly visible. Especially the Glarus main thrust is clearly visible. Here, older rock layers were pushed over younger ones.
