Vilters-Wangs is located on the western slope of the Rhine Valley in Sarganserland. Above the community is the Viltersersee. The region belongs to the popular Heidiland vacation region and is a paradise for all nature lovers in every season. Especially in summer, the Viltersersee is an ideal place for relaxation and tranquility. The popular 2-lake hike connects the Viltersersee with the Wangser See. The Pizol area offers ideal hiking conditions in summer and a popular skiing area in winter.
