Description
You take the 8-seater gondola of the Pizolbahn from Wangs to the mountain station Furt. Here begins the ride over the daily newly prepared toboggan run to Maienberg. The easy to ride track is very suitable for children and families
At the middle station you take the Pizolbahn to get either down to Wangs or for the next toboggan ride up to Furt This toboggan run is located away from the ski slopes.
Only for experienced and adult sledders there is the possibility to extend the toboggan run by 2.5 km with the valley descent to Wangs. This, however, ends in Tuggenboden before the ski slope. It is forbidden to drive on the ski slope with sledges and the like. You walk a few meters to the valley station Wangs.

- 3.5 km sledge run families: ford mountain station to middle station Maienberg
- 6 km toboggan run for adults and experienced sledders: Furt mountain station via middle station Maienberg to the hamlet Tuggenboden

Practical information:
- Parking Wangs 45 minutes free of charge: CHF 5.00/day; (please leave a parking disc)
- Attention: the stretch Tuggenboden to Wangs is ski slope and forbidden for sledgers.
Swiss Activities Tip
In winter, the Pizol has additional attractions to offer. If you want to take a short rest from sledding with a picnic, we recommend a visit to the Wangsersee near the Pizol hut. The lake, located high up on the summit, becomes a huge skating rink in winter. The spectacle is beautiful to behold.

- Saturday, Sunday, public holiday: 08:15 - 17:30

by public transport:
Bus lines 429 and 430 run from Sargans train station to the Wangs valley station
- Four buses per hour on weekdays
- On Sunday two buses per hour
by car:
- A3 Zurich-Sarganserland, exit Sargans, 2km to Wangs
- 500 parking spaces available
- Additional 350 outdoor parking spaces with transport by Pizolbahn bus (transport and parking free of charge)
