Walensee
The Walensee, with its dramatic surroundings, resembles a Norwegian fjord. It is located in Heidiland and is bounded to the north by the steeply rising Churfirsten mountain range, a popular hiking paradise. The lake has a deep blue hue and is often called the "Riviera of Eastern Switzerland." The hiking trails and mountain bike routes around Walensee feature stunning waterfalls and spectacular vistas.
