Altdorf
Altdorf lies around 450 meters above sea level to the south of Lake Uri, part of Lake Lucerne. The capital of the canton of Uri is known for its historical significance. One of the main sights is the Wilhelm Tell monument on the central square. The Tell Museum is also located nearby and offers interesting insights into the history and legend of the national hero William Tell. For nature lovers, Altdorf offers numerous hiking and cycling trails, especially along the picturesque Lake Lucerne and in the surrounding Alps.

on Visita guidata Lucerna“A wonderfully sunny day and relaxing hours at Rigi Kaltbad Wellness. It was worth being at the spa as early as 10:30 AM, since it got very crowded in the afternoon. We’ll gladly come back – of course by boat, train, and cable car.”
