Flawil is located in Untertoggenburg and has over 10,500 inhabitants. The village is located about 15 km from St. Gallen and 13 km from Wil. Among the most interesting monuments in Flawil are the Old Town Hall, the Hirschen Inn, the Protestant Church and the Catholic Church of St. Laurentius. A popular excursion destination is the Wissbachtobel near Egg. The local museum Flawil in the Lindengut invites you to discover the Texitil history in Eastern Switzerland. The Chocolarium Maestrani is located in Flawil. Traditional parades with ladder wagons are held during the Lägelisnacht in November.
