Beatenberg

Beatenberg is situated above Lake Thun on a sunny terrace. The view of the lake and mountains is particularly beautiful and the wind conditions here are ideal for paragliding. You can see the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau very well from Beatenberg. Popular destinations in Beatenberg are the Niederhorn and the Beatus caves. At the Beatus caves is the now closed pilgrimage chapel "St. Batten", which was a famous place of pilgrimage for centuries. Below the caves runs the Way of St. James between Thun and Interlaken. The Fitpass gives you unlimited access to more than 400 sports facilities in Switzerland. So you can practise numerous sports or try out new ones. The Fitpass is like a GA travelcard for sport, fitness and wellness. You can buy the pass for a week, a month or a whole year. You remain flexible with a six-month subscription.
