What is the Bodmi Arena?
The Bodmi Arena is open daily from mid-December to the end of March, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. It offers a ski school, activities like snowboarding, skiing, and sledding, childcare, and much more. A platter lift and a conveyor belt help children and adult beginners get their first experiences with winter sports.
The sunny Bodmi Arena also has various ski lifts and conveyor belts that are perfect for trying out snow for the first time. The Pinocchio lift is included, as well as smaller courses. Its location right in Grindelwald is ideal for practicing without having to go to a real ski area.
Snowli Kinderclub at the Bodmi Arena
Childcare is available at the Snowli Club for kids aged 3 and up. It’s open during the week from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There’s a lunch for the kids from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Supervisors can relax on loungers with sheepskin covers and enjoy delicacies from the kids' club right in the heart of the ski paradise.

Snowli Party in the Bodmi Arena
You can experience a Snowli Party every Wednesday in February from 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm. The participation is free of charge.

The magic carpet of the Bodmi Arena
The magic carpet is a conveyor belt that takes you quickly and easily to the sledding slope. This way you can comfortably sled or ski down again and again.
Renting Ski and Snowboard Gear at Bodmi Arena
A small shop on the premises of Bodmi Arena lets you rent your equipment right there. This way, you can try out what suits you best without having to buy anything or carry heavy gear around.
Shop Opening Hours: From about mid-December to the end of March, the shop is open daily during the winter season from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Getting to Bodmi Arena
Getting to Bodmi Arena is really easy. From Grindelwald Dorf, you can reach it in just a few minutes to the north.
Public Transport
Buses 122 and 124 run regularly from Grindelwald to Bodmi Arena. There’s a dedicated bus stop at the site.

It takes about 10 minutes to get to Bodmi Arena from the train station.

Buses operate from Christmas until the end of March at least hourly, and every half hour during peak times.
If you have a Bodmi Arena ticket, you can ride the buses for free. A valid ski pass or the Grindelwald Guest Card also lets you ride the bus for free.
By Car
The roads to Bodmi Arena are accessible by car, but it’s best to have an off-road vehicle. However, parking options at the Bodmi Arena are limited.

Activities in the Bodmi Arena
In the Bodmi Arena, everything is geared towards beginners in winter sports. You can attend a ski school and improve your skills in a group or alone. If you prefer to train without help or just have fun, that is of course also possible.


Snow School in the Bodmi Arena
The snow school offers a variety of different courses. For kids and adults, in groups or privately. You can book courses with certified ski instructors that last from half a day to several days.
Classes are conducted according to the levels of the Swiss Snow League. For children, levels like Bambini and the Blue League are available. The mascot Snowli helps to overcome initial fears.

Snowtubing and tobogganing in the Bodmi Arena
The magic carpet will take you and your children comfortably to the top. On the way down, you can enjoy a speedy ride on the snowtube or on a toboggan. In the Air Glaciers Fun Park you can sled down the slope with different equipment. Additionally there is a snowtubing track

The Button Lift in the Bodmi Arena
For your first lift ride, the button lift in the Bodmi Arena is excellent. It is especially popular among slightly advanced skiers and snowboarders.
Open: daily from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Wednesday and Thursday until 7:00 PM.

Night skiing in the Bodmi Arena
From the 4th week of December until around the beginning of the 2nd week of March, night skiing is offered in the Bodmi Arena on Wednesdays and Fridays. On these days, the platter lift is open until 7:00 PM. Night skiing is free with the Jungfrau ski pass.
