Description

In the Olympic bobsled run in St. Moritz, you get to experience an adrenaline-pumping bobsled ride. On the 1722 m long natural ice bobsleigh track, you’ll ride for 75 seconds and reach speeds of up to 135 km/h.

You’ll definitely feel the G-forces of 4G as you’re securely nestled between the pilot and the brakeman.

You can pick up your starting number from 7:00 AM at the Info Point at the bobsleigh start. The starting numbers are issued on a first come, first served basis.

Practical Information:

  • Bus lines 2 and 6 run from St. Moritz and Celerina to the start area of the Olympic bobsleigh runs. Please get off at the stop "St. Moritz, Bären". You can reach the start area on foot in about 2 minutes.
  • Parking in the start area: P1 (underground parking) the parking spaces on the left of the entrance and P2 (on the roof of the underground parking)
  • Additional parking in Celerina (finish area of the Olympic bobsleigh runs): You can use the official transport to the start area: Please contact the staff of the Olympic bobsleigh runs at the finish area.

Health prerequisites

Especially for the following ailments, definitely seek medical advice:

  • Back and/or neck pain
  • Heart and/or lung problems
  • Circulatory issues
  • Osteoporosis (decreased bone density)
  • Surgery on the spine or herniated disc
  • Polyarthritis

Clothing

  • slim sneakers (no moon boots or Sorel)
  • comfortable clothing and gloves (no coats)
  • ski goggles okay, but no prescription glasses/sunglasses while riding

Swiss Activities Tip

An exciting and informative walking path leads from the parking lot of the destination area in Celerina along the train to the starting area. You walk for about 45 min.
