Bremgarten was built on a moraine that had formed in a loop of the Reuss River. The old town has a strong medieval character and parts of the town wall with its battlements have been preserved to this day. The town lies in the lower Reuss valley 23 km east of Aarau, 16 km west of Zurich and 35 km north of Lucerne. Bremgarten is well suited for a river cruise on the Reuss. The four fairs have a supra-regional popularity and make Bremgarten the tourist center in southeastern Aargau

“Great facilities- friendly staff . We got the cog wheel train from Vitznau to the Kaltbad and then hiked up to the Rigi Klum. We had lunch there and then hiked back to the KaltbadSpa. It was so relaxing after the hi out .”
